Pukará de Quitor is an ancient fortress built on a rocky hill overlooking the San Pedro Oasis. While visitors can no longer walk into the ruins of the fortress, there is a 45-min trail to a viewpoint that allows visitors to see the fortress, the San Pedro Oasis, and Valle de la Muerte from above.
